Custom fabrication
One-off steel components made to measure for non-standard openings.
Doing our own welding and fabrication is what lets us fix things other door companies have to replace. We build and repair steel components for shutters, doors and gates — frames, guides, brackets, posts, lintel supports and custom sections made to suit an opening that isn't standard.
Older industrial buildings rarely have square, standard openings. Rather than forcing an off-the-shelf door into a difficult space, we fabricate the frame or support that makes the installation work properly, and we make structural modifications where an opening needs to change size.
We also take on general industrial fabrication and repair work: cracked frames, damaged posts, bollards, guarding and impact protection around doorways. Work can be done in our St Marys workshop or on site where the item can't be moved.

That is a large part of what we do. Older industrial buildings rarely have square openings, so we make the frame suit the building.

Often yes. If the structure is sound we cut out and replace the damaged section, which is usually cheaper than a new gate.
Yes — bollards, guide protection and guarding to stop forklifts taking out the same door twice.
We measure on site and confirm the details with you before fabrication starts.
