Rapid Roll Door Servicing
Inspection, servicing and fault diagnosis for high-speed door systems used in busy commercial environments.
Supporting Tormax Australia with scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs across Woolworths sites.
On Track Industrial has been engaged to support Tormax Australia in servicing Woolworths roller door and rapid roll door infrastructure across a broad regional service area. Working with Tormax Australia, we provide field servicing, maintenance and repair support for these door assets — the program is managed by Tormax Australia, and our role is the on-site technical work that keeps the doors running.
In retail and distribution environments these doors sit directly in the path of daily operations. They control loading areas and delivery access, stock movement between docks and store floor, staff access routes, and the security of the building outside trading hours. Where a site includes temperature-controlled or cold-chain areas, door condition also affects how well those environments hold temperature. Rapid roll doors in particular are chosen for high-frequency access, and cycle counts in a busy facility add up quickly.
Commercial door systems working at that rate need regular inspection and servicing to stay safe and reliable. Curtains, guides, tracks, motors, controllers and safety devices all wear, and impact damage is common wherever forklifts, pallet jacks and delivery traffic operate. Scheduled servicing gives an opportunity to pick up alignment drift, worn components, sensor faults and early motor problems while they are still adjustments rather than breakdowns.
Our work under this program covers scheduled servicing visits, fault diagnosis, breakdown attendance and repair of damaged components, backed by our own welding and fabrication capability where a repair is more practical than a replacement. Delivering that consistently across a large geographic footprint requires field capability, properly equipped vehicles and technicians who work on commercial and industrial door systems every day rather than occasionally.

Commercial roller and rapid doors in retail and distribution environments work hard. High operating cycles, impact damage from forklifts and delivery traffic, motor wear and worn moving components are all normal parts of the life of a busy door.
Faults tend to show up first as small changes — a door running slower, tracking slightly off, or a sensor that needs a second attempt. Regular servicing gives a chance to identify those issues before they become larger breakdowns.
Servicing reduces risk and catches wear early — it does not eliminate the possibility of a breakdown.

Rapid roll doors are usually installed where openings need to cycle frequently — dock access, internal thoroughfares and temperature-controlled areas. That frequency is exactly why they need attention.
Roller shutter maintenance covers the whole door, not just the motor. We check the curtain and moving components, the way the door sits in its guides and how it behaves under load.
