· On Track Industrial

A roller shutter is a bit like a work ute — it copes with a lot, but only if you look after it. Every open and close cycle wears the springs, guides, motor and slats a little more, and in a busy warehouse that can mean thousands of cycles a year.

When we service a shutter we check the spring tension, lubricate the guides, test the safety brake, inspect the motor and control gear, and tighten everything that's worked loose. Small adjustments made early stop the big failures later — the kind that jam a doorway shut at 6am with trucks waiting outside.

The maths is simple: a scheduled service costs a fraction of an emergency callout and a replacement motor, and it keeps your site secure in the meantime. Most commercial shutters should be serviced at least once a year, and high-traffic doors every six months.

If your shutter is getting noisy, running slow or stopping halfway, it's telling you something. Give On Track Industrial a call on 02 7238 9977 and we'll get it sorted before it lets you down.
